New York, New York Part 1

Feels like my trip to NYC was ages ago, but I still wanted to share with you all of the photos Xin and I shot together. It’s always a pleasure to come back to this city, I constantly feel like I’m hanging out in a movie set. It may not look like it but it was one of the most freezing photo-shoots I have done to date. The weather was in high 20’s (F), it was super windy and I literally couldn’t feel my fingers (yes, this is what bloggers have to go through). One fashion life hack that I’ve learned about New York is that you should never be overdressed and that your outfit should be multifunctional. You never know where you will end up going when living in such a hectic city. So for me, the number one rule for this type of outfit is to wear wear all black and spice it up with bright accessories or a statement jacket, in this case. I feel that living in this city all you need is a go to pair of jeans and a good collection of jackets and blazers. Something that I would definitely invest into more if I lived in New York. Oh, and of course shoes…you can never have too many of them 😉
